Serengeti National Park
Home to the Great Migration — the largest terrestrial mammal movement on earth. The Serengeti's 14,763 km² of open savannah hosts lions, leopards, cheetahs, and elephants year-round, but the river crossings from July to October are scenes of breathtaking, primal drama.

Ngorongoro Conservation Area
The world's largest intact volcanic caldera cradles an ecosystem unlike any other. Descend 600 metres into a natural amphitheatre teeming with lions, black rhinos, flamingos, and elephants — all within a 260 km² bowl of breathtaking beauty.

Tarangire National Park
Ancient baobab silhouettes, thousand-strong elephant herds, and a river that never dries — Tarangire is Tanzania's most underrated classic. Its density of dry-season wildlife rivals any park on the continent, yet remains blissfully uncrowded.

Lake Manyara National Park
Ernest Hemingway called it "the loveliest lake in Africa." Pressed between the alkaline lake and the Great Rift Valley escarpment, Manyara packs extraordinary biodiversity into a compact park — including the famous tree-climbing lions of its acacia forest.

Arusha National Park
Tanzania's most diverse park in the smallest footprint. Canoeing on Lake Momella, walking safaris on the lower slopes of Mount Meru, giraffe at elevation, and colobus monkeys in montane forest — Arusha NP is the perfect opening act for any northern safari.

Mount Kilimanjaro
Africa's highest peak at 5,895 metres draws climbers from every continent to its celebrated routes — Marangu, Machame, Lemosho, and Rongai. Beyond the summit, Kilimanjaro's foothills offer superb cultural encounters and montane forest walks on the slopes of a dormant giant.
